Blog Entry 14: Cool wood and metal structure

I found this cool sculpture in a park while in Eugene a while back. Upon review I really like the contrasting materials in this piece of work. The connection between a processed metal and what seems to be a naturally occurring piece of wood juxtaposes very well within this piece of art.

Blog Entry 9: My Photography

I like to take photographs of older looking things. I also like to find simple images where few colors contrast very vividly.

Picturing the Other:

I have an interesting take on this assignment. This is a photo of a cat (the ultimate other being animal). On top of this the cat is looking through the closed window to the outside world. The picture is snapped as a person is walking by the cat's boarder to the other world, which is outside. I thought this acted as a cool metaphor.
