Blog Entry 7: my photography

Here is am image I took a little while back of some pumpkins. I like the lack of hierarchy in the shot as the eye has no specific place to focus, thus it wonders making the image a unique adventure for the viewer.

Blog Entry 6: My other Design Sample

This is another design sample I made foe the Oregon Student Association. I made this one is Microsoft Word, which is actually a very versatile program. I think this sample actually looks a lot better than the one I made in InDesign. Like my other sample I am unable to load both sides of this doc into this blog. I will load the second side for both later.

Blog 5: My design work with Indesign

This is a trifold pamphlet I've been working on in Indesign. Could be better and the quality looks bad cause of the way I transferred it to the net, which was extremely hard... I wasn't able to put the back side up, but I will put the rest of the design up later...

Blog Entry 4: Good Visual Hierarchy

I think this image has great visual hierarchy as the bottles seem to form a shape that leads the eye to what is the most dominant image (the label of the bottle).

Blog entry 3: Bad Visual Hierarchy

This is a really good example of bad visual hierarchy as there is really no actual pattern that the eye should follow. None of the text stands out and the eye is actually overwhelmed with information rather than the visually stimulating images.
